Weldwork has an immediate opening for a skilled and dependable band saw operator. The successful candidate is a person who appreciates seeing how their efforts contribute to the overall success of the project team and organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Highly organized with a good sense of attention to detail
- Unload raw materials from semi-trucks and store material
- Performs basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and order in work area at all times
- Maintain punctuality, work independently with a high degree of attention to detail
- Maintain project deadlines
- Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state and local codes
- Experience in operating a fork lift
Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1+ years of recent experience
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanically inclined and ability to operate a variety of assigned tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in safe band saw operation
- Team oriented work ethic
